The BXTR Metal pays homage to Baxter Street, a popular Los Angeles skate spot where style and authenticity are on full display, just like this frame. The mask-style sunglasses were created by the Oakley® design team in close collaboration with friends of the brand to present a unique interpretation of everyday eyewear. The BXTR Metal’s modernized trigger-tip temples are inspired by the original Oakley® Razor Blade sunglasses. The frame is reinforced with metal material reminiscent of the prototype for the first Oakley® sunglasses, made from snow goggle lenses and a wire hanger. BiO-Matter®* frame material provides all-day comfort and lightweight durability, while Unobtainium® nose pads provide added grip.
