The La Sportiva Akyra footwear is specifically designed for women participating in long-distance races, such as Ultra Trails and Ultra Marathons. The upper structure of the Akyra is composed of three layers that provide comfort, flexibility, and protection. The seamless construction ensures a comfortable fit, while the MicroLite Skeleton™ application allows for dynamic foot movement. The Flex-Guard™ technology provides a lightweight protective layer against abrasion. Stability is a strong point of the Akyra, thanks to the TrailCage System™ that integrates with the lacing system. The sole, developed by La Sportiva's R&D department, features the FriXion XT compound with Impact Brake System and an innovative design with Trail Rocker technology that promotes natural support during running. Inspired by the precision of origami, the geometric design of the Akyra aims to make running an art.
