The Three Refuges Traverse is an invitation to discover on foot the unforgettable landscapes of the Eastern Pyrenees. This map, with a scale of 1:25,000, offers a detailed guide of the route, allowing hikers to enjoy the richness of wildlife, precious flowers, spectacular gorges, solitary lakes, lush forests, and mighty rivers. At the end of each stage, adventurers can rest in guarded refuges, ready to regain strength for the next day. This challenging traverse includes ascents and descents exceeding 3000 meters of elevation gain, but for the most determined, the experience can be extended by reaching iconic peaks such as Balandrau, Bastiments, Gra de Fajol, Gallinàs, Torreneules, and Puigmal, accumulating more than 6000 meters of total elevation gain.
