A warm, water-repellent, windproof and versatile women's down jacket that excels in alpine mountaineering and ice climbing. The Ortles Medium 2 Down Jacket is a thermal alpine mountaineering layer that combines the warmth of down with an easy-to-carry size. Whether used as a thermal midlayer or shell layer, its 3D quilted chamber construction, 90/10 fill of 750 white duck down, Responsible Down Standard, and TirolWool® Responsive hybrid insulation inserts are positioned in such a way that they provide the exact amount of heat retention necessary for different parts of the body. TirolWool® Responsive keeps you warm even when it's humid, that's why we incorporated it in the hood, shoulders and cuffs. The lightweight, abrasion-resistant ripstop nylon shell is ideal for alpine use, while the fitted, adjustable-back hood and high collar provide maximum storm protection. It is made following our patterns that allow freedom of movement and with ergonomic sleeves and shoulders that prevent the hem from rising during climbing. In addition, it can be folded into a small compressed bag.
