ROCK EMPIRE GUARD SB

A new universal belay device suitable for belaying and rappelling on rocks, multi-pitches, in the mountains and on ice. ,The belay device has an extended life thanks to the stainless steel bar, which the ropes go over.

The design allows simultaneous belaying of two climbers with automatic locking function. The largest hole on the device is used to hang on to a ring in the rock for belaying the second climber. For this functionality, one more carabiner with a screw gate needs to be used.

It offers a system for easy release of the 2nd climber. This release of the load by the 2nd climber is served by the smallest 4th hole on the belay device. Ideally, a key lock carabiner is used or a thin flat dyneema loop or round loop can be threaded through this hole.

The belay device works best with ropes from 7.8 to 11 mm in diameter. Another advantage generally applicable to this type of belay device is the separation of ropes during descents, which do not allow for the rope to twist.
